-
Call for an appointment several days in advance if possible.
-
Describe the nature of the problem to the receptionist.
-
Bring your insurance card, all current medications, and be prepared to spend 20 minutes of your time to discuss paperwork and prep.
Notify us as soon as possible if you need to postpone your appointment.
Your Calls Are Important
If you have a question or concern, please call our office. Your message will be relayed to the nurse. If your call is not an emergency, it may be later in the day before it is returned. Often the nurse will convey the doctor's response to you concerning your problem. This allows the doctor to spend more personal time with in-office patients.
Our answering service will take your call after 4:30pm. One of our physicians will return your call as soon as possible.
Emergencies
If you have an emergency, sometimes every second counts. It is best to go immediately to the emergency room of the hospital nearest you. At the emergency room, a physician will examine you, and if needed, contact your gastroenterologist.
